end-to-end encrypted. each channel has a random AES-256 key that exists only in the browsers of its cleared members — the server stores it solely as blobs wrapped to each member's public key, and cannot derive it. COMMAND role administers channels but confers no ability to read them; granting access requires already holding the key. revoking someone blocks future access, but cannot un-see what they already read.

OPERATOR SIGN-IN
TACNET uses Discord only to confirm who you are — it asks for your username and nothing else. It adds no bot and cannot see or touch the 22nd's Discord server. Whether you may use TACNET is decided separately, by COMMAND.
this is the name every other operator sees — on the roster, in the overlay, and on every message you send. keep it under 12 characters so it fits the HUD. COMMAND may assign you a different one when approving you, and it cannot be changed afterwards.
